Christine has been our Intergeneration Missioner for the last three years and during her ministry here has helped initiate Toast and Toddle, the monthly LEAF youth group and recently Messy Church. Christine has also been a leader in 3 Alpha courses, All Age Worship services, the Thursday prayer group, and has been involved in ministry to schools.
With the difficult Covid situation set to continue into the foreseeable future, some of the other diocesan Intergenerational Missioners, along with Christine, have been placed on furlough or flexi-furlough, and Christine will be leaving us on Friday. All of her initiatives will continue under the leadership of other members of the ministry team and the amazing volunteers who have worked with her.
While we’re not able to meet physically it makes it much harder for us to say goodbye, but we do want to thank Christine for all her hard work in developing new ways of being and doing church, and to pray for God’s blessing to rest on her future plans.
More to follow about opportunities to show our appreciation.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact Revd. Sean Semple 07778 114651 or sean@rossparishes.uk.
So very sad Christine is leaving. Christine has been an inspiration to all of us in The Toast and Toddle team. It has been a privilege to help Christine with Toast and Toddle and she will be very much missed by her helpers and the Mums and Toddlers of Ross on Wye. God bless you Christine x
