Dates of meetings
St Mary’s PCC normally meets on the second Wednesday of every other month.
The next meeting is on 9th March 2022.
The PCC, on behalf of the congregations of St Mary’s, has adopted the Clergy Covenant for Clergy Care and Wellbeing which states:
“The Church of England is part of the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church, worshipping the one true God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. It professes the faith uniquely revealed in the Holy Scripture and set forth in the catholic creeds, which faith the Church is called upon to proclaim afresh in every generation. In its formularies, the Church of England recognises that God calls some to serve as deacons, priests and bishops to build up and equip the whole people of God.
Conscious that such a calling is both a privilege and a demand, we commit together to promote the welfare of our clergy and their households. We undertake to work together to coordinate and improve our approach to clergy care and wellbeing so that the whole church may flourish in the service of the mission of God”.
Annual Parochial Church Meetings
The Annual Parochial Church Meetings took place on Wednesday 12th May at 7.00pm via Zoom.
The Church Electoral Roll
This is the church’s register of its members; a list of those qualified to attend and to vote on a number of Church matters (locally and nationally).
Further detailed information on electoral rolls can be found on the Church of England website.
Renewal of the electoral roll takes place every six years (next renewal is in 2025). In a year of renewal, no names are carried over from the old roll and everyone must make a new application to be included on the new roll.

The Deanery Synod meets four times a year.
At a recent meeting, parishes were asked for their response to a series of questions from the Bishop Richard. Members of the PCC gave their answers which have been collated into this document.
