Sundays at St Mary’s
8 am – Said Communion
This service is said, no hymns, no fuss and lasts about 30 minutes. It alternates between the traditional language of the 1662 Book of Common Prayer and Common Worship. The service has a small and loyal congregation made up of people who like to be up and about early! All are welcome. The service is also live streamed on Facebook
9.30 am – Sung Eucharist
The main service at St Mary’s each week. People of all ages (from less than a year to more than 100) come to this service and there is always a strong community feel. It’s also live streamed on YouTube. Music of a high standard is provided (live) by St Mary’s choir. (The monthly music list can be found here). Coffee is served in the building after the service.
You can download the seasonal booklets for the 9.30 Eucharist on this page.

Choral Evensong – Second and Fourth Sundays of the month – 6 pm
A perfect end to the weekend, the service is sung by our choir, there are three hymns for you to join in with if you wish but you may prefer to sit and let it all happen. This is a form of service that has been used almost unchanged since 1549 and with its real foundations many centuries before that. It is also a form of service that will be taking place in cathedrals and larger parish churches throughout the world. Beyond time and space!
