A HUGE thank you to our wonderful Ross shops who have supported St Mary’s both in the draw and with other gifts for the Fayre. You can get your tickets at the Fayre, look for bargains on our stalls, and stop by for a pint and a pork or brisket roll at the Motley Hog in St Mary’s Churchyard or a cream tea and homemade cake at Mrs Tiggy Winkle’s Tea Shop in St Mary’s Hall. See you there!
Come to St Mary’s Ross on Saturday. The fun starts at 11.30am and winners of our GRAND DRAW and competitions will be announced at 3.15pm. There’s plenty do for for all the family, with prizes to win, food to eat, free activities for young children, games to play, all sorts to buy and lots of HEDGEHOG Information.

If you have any items to donate to our stalls please bring them to the church on Thursday 1st August between 2pm and 3.30pm, Friday 2nd August between 4pm and 7pm or Saturday morning at 9.30am. Our stalls include, cakes, bakes and preserves (please label with ingredients and state if vegetarian or gluten/dairy free), house, garden and pond plants, white elephant, tombola, books, CDs and DVDs, crafts and toys. Thank you very much!
Bring your friends. With games and competitions, information from Herefordshire Wildlife, Ross Hedgehog Care & Advice and the Wye Valley National Landscapes (AONB), music, activities for little ones, Motley Hog Brewery bar, barbecue, our own Mrs Tiggy Winkle’s tea shop and a variety of stalls, this is an event for all ages, not to be missed!

Join us for a fun day all about hedgehogs. Meet Archie the Hedgehog, find out more about these endangered prickly creatures from local hedgehog groups, Herefordshire Nature Trust and National Landscapes (formerly Wye Valley AONB). The Crown & Sceptre (Motley Hog Brewery) will provide the bar and smoked pork rolls, and with a barbecue and Mrs Tiggy Winkles Tea shop you won’t go hungry or thirsty. Plenty for the all family with face painting, games, storytelling, music and stalls – make a note of the date – Saturday 3rd August!
The Friends of St Mary’s were delighted to host an evening with Monmouth Big Band on Saturday. Introducing the upbeat, varied programme was Iain McIntyre, (vocalist), and the band was directed by Mike Prestage. Many of the audience danced throughout and everyone had a great time.

Join us to celebrate Easter Day at St Mary’s and Walford at 9.30am. The flowers in St Mary’s Easter garden were made by residents of Westbank Residential Home and children from Messy Church while the trees were made by children from five local primary schools who joined our “Experience Easter”.
We celebrate the Last Supper which Jesus shared with his followers at 7.30pm this evening. Our children remembered it this afternoon at Messy Church.

Thursday 28th March at 2.30pm in St Mary’s Church
Did you know that Jesus washed his disciples feet…! Have you ever wondered why? And then… he had supper with his friends… Have you ever wondered what they ate and talked about? And, can you remember what happened next…?
Come and help remember what happened… and get ready for Easter too with Easter crafts!
All ages! All welcome!
RSVP! It helps if you can let us know if you can come (but not essential) !

PLEASE BRING: soap and a towel!
We will also be sitting and eating together just like Jesus and his friends, so please let us know if you have any allergies – specially gluten or fruit.
