The revamped Museum Without Walls for Ross by createROSS is now launched with 7 sites to see (that’s 4 new ones), commentaries built into the app and a trail around the town for you to follow.
Site two is in St Mary’s Church, you’ll find a reconstruction of parts of the church from November 1724 – the day of John Kyrle’s funeral. The 1485 rood screen is there, a seventeenth century organ originally built for Salisbury Cathedral, and … well, see if you can find John Kyle, himself!
You’ll need to download the app to your smartphone then scan the sign by the monuments in church.
