12 Christmas Thank Yous – 8th Day

To all who look after and beautify St Mary’s Church

A 740 year old building requires constant attention to keep it in a good state of repair and looking good. This work is ultimately the responsibility of the churchwardens and we say a big thank you to John Setchfield who retired in April after 10 years of service. Thanks to current wardens Bryan Jones and Mark Sanderson.

Week by week our voluntary cleaning team meets: Ian, Janet, Jean, Paul, Julian, Sue, John, John, Avril, Fiona & Edward.

Thanks too, to all who donate and arrange flowers through the year – a team too numerous to name, coordinated by Sue.

Finally to the contractors who have worked in the building this year, especially: Alder Preece Electrical, and Andrew and Jim from APi Communications who have worked hard this year on our AV installations (with more still to come in 2024).
